At SAA the dramatic artist learns to let go of fear as he dives into the playful nature of improvisation and theater games. From this core of our refined curriculum every activity is directed toward developing intuition, freeing the actor from within. In the amazing world of theater, anything is possible!
Below you will find suggested age levels. It is good to note that not all artists progress at the same level. Our personalized approach constantly assesses the student so that she is placed in classes that will challenge and inspire her, regardless of her age.
Choose Your
Actor’s Level
If your young one is curious, expressive, or craves activity, our Baroque level is the perfect way to introduce them to theater in a way that caters to their love for learning. We’ll provide a place for your child to express themselves in ways that simultaneously nurture their creativity and feed their spirit. With access to costumes, props, and theatrical lighting, dramatic play becomes a true art form.
The Classical level of our Drama program helps the amateur — yet passionate — thespian thrive. It polishes their talents while furthering their dreams of exploring this craft with others. With improvisational play at its core, this level pushes young artists just enough to break through self-doubt and find freedom on stage. They’ll grow in confidence and connection as they prepare for meaningful performances in a supportive, creative environment.
Our Impressionist level is for individuals who have harnessed the craft and are ready to take their talents and excel in the real world. If you or someone you know has goals that encourage them to reach to the stars, this level is perfect! With opportunities to perform, collaborate, and gain real-world experience, students refine their technique and develop a strong artistic voice — ready to take on bold roles and inspiring new challenges.
