(By Invitation or Audition Only) AAT is an intensive studio immersion in Contemporary American Theatre as well as Classical studies. Students will work primarily in scene work with fellow actors that focuses on character construction, physicality and voice as well as using constructive criticism techniques to evaluate all work presented.
This hour-long class meets once a week from August-May, and is a wonderful a complement class to Drama. Please see our schedule page for full details and the ability to register for any of our classes.
This class does not participate in the End-of-the-Year Performance; the materials used in class are performed in a lab setting where students learn to evaluate each other's work.
The class uniform is: Black SAA tee shirt, black jazz pants black jazz shoes; The Princess Shoppe; housed at Suwanee Academy of the Arts, has all the attire needed for class.
