Lisa Bassett is a piano and voice teacher at Suwanee Academy of the Arts in Suwanee, Lancaster Music in Gainesville and her home studio in Gainesville. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Georgia College & State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with an emphasis in piano performance, and a minor in vocal performance. While at North Georgia, Lisa received the C.J. Dismukes Distinguished Musician Award for 2005.
Lisa is a pianist, vocalist, teacher, accompanist, and worship leader. She has also worked with the Continuing Education program at North Georgia College & State University to provide lessons for residents of Dahlonega and the surrounding area.
Lisa has worked with several churches and ministries in Gainesville, Cumming,
and Dahlonega, where she has led worship for College & Career ministries,
Baptist Student Unions, youth programs and worship services. Lisa has performed
with several ensembles, including choruses, choirs, and a Jazz Band. Lisa has
played in ensembles at the Georgia Mountain Center for various plays. She has
also served as an accompanist for various vocalists, choral groups, church
choirs and weddings.
